Resident Artist, Tricia says of her work, "Beeswax mixed with damar resin becomes Encaustic Medium.  I use this as my base and rub in dry pigments with my hands using a blow torch to fuse each layer of colour to the layer below, building up the colour gradually.  Ocean horizons are my inspiration for all my artwork.  I like to depict in each piece I create, the feeling you get when you look out at the horizon over the ocean in different times of the day and different weather patterns."
