"I came across, while browsing a local antique shop, a beautiful hand-made ceramic vase. Part of a collection by Southern Highlands ceramicist, Annie Holcombe, I was inspired to contact Annie and seek her permission to feature one of her vases in a still life painting. Featuring a pond, some quirky trees and a couple of country cottages, it's an absolute delight. A big bunch of colourful poppies seemed to complete the picture."
